Jobgether is seeking a Development Lead/Architect in the United States to design, build, and deliver scalable software while guiding engineering teams toward technical excellence.

The role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership across frontend and backend stacks, databases, and cloud practices. You will mentor developers, review solutions, and translate decisions into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Backend experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Strong system design, including microservices basics.
• CI/CD debugging and secure config management.
• Solid testing practices including unit and E2E tests.
• Strong code-review and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust (High) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development initiatives and set technical standards.
• Architect scalable, maintainable systems end-to-end.
• Review code, coach engineers, and promote best practices.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers.
• Design and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Address performance, DB bottlenecks, and frontend issues.
• Assist with DevOps, CI/CD, and secure dev environments.
• Encourage test automation and end-to-end testing.
• Explain technical decisions to stakeholders and product teams.
