Job summary

PingWind, Inc. is seeking a Development Lead in Huntsville, AL, to provide technical leadership for PAE Fires software design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment, and modernization.

The role acts as a technical POC for Government applications, leading across GOTS/MOTS/COTS solutions while ensuring secure and maintainable applications aligned with mission requirements. A SECRET clearance is required and prior DoD/govt exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Advanced software engineering across the full SDLC including architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and modernization.
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET/C# and enterprise web technologies; front-end familiarity is relevant.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, performance/availability concepts, and DB integration.
• Version control and CI/CD using Git and Azure DevOps or comparable tools.
• Ability to lead software teams and communicate with Government customers and stakeholders.
• SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, modification, reuse, re-engineering, and retirement of software applications.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for software configuration, installation, support, and dependencies.
• Direct software and enterprise/platform development activities, including code review, release planning, and technical documentation.
• Lead sustainment and modernization of legacy systems and new development to meet client requirements.
• Create, update, and maintain environments to ensure availability and integrity.
• Coordinate releases with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and stakeholders.
