Job summary

TalentRemedy is seeking a Senior Associate, Development to strengthen fundraising and grants management efforts within a mission-driven organization. The role requires sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to guide Development work across teams.

The ideal candidate balances fundraising, programs, leadership, and external partners while independently assessing grant requirements, risks, and next steps to keep funder commitments aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in development, fundraising, grants management, and philanthropy.
• Knowledge of grant lifecycle, requirements, reporting, and funding commitments.
• Ability to assess situations independently and guide decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support management and execution of grants, fundraising initiatives, and other Development priorities.
• Review grant requirements, timelines, and commitments to stay aligned with funder expectations.
• Collaborate with Program and other teams to resolve grant-related issues and scope concerns.
• Exercise sound judgment when requests fall outside Development parameters.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and senior leaders when timelines or deliverables need adjusting.
• Help establish boundaries around Development projects and funder commitments.
• Proactively identify challenges and propose solutions rather than waiting for direction.
• Assist Development leadership with presentations, proposals, reports, and donor communications.
• Maintain strong internal processes for efficient Development work.
• Collaborate across teams while upholding Development requirements.
