Job summary

Liberty Ecosystem, a nonprofit social enterprise, seeks a Development Director in Los Angeles for a full-time hybrid role. You will design and lead fundraising strategy, cultivate major donors, and deepen relationships with foundations and impact investors to fuel ambitious community investment.

Expect collaboration with executive leadership and the Board to expand revenue streams. You will build compelling cases for support, drive grants, campaigns, and sponsorships, and ensure donor

Qualifications

Minimum of 4+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience (collective track record)
Ability to lead major-donors and foundation relationships
Strong storytelling and proposal development for campaigns and grants

Responsibilities

Lead fundraising strategy and revenue growth across gifts, foundations, and investments
Cultivate and steward major donors and high-capacity prospects
Develop relationships with foundations, funders, and impact investors
Prepare executive-level introductions and stewardship with Board involvement
Lead grant strategy from prospecting to renewal and reporting
Partner with leadership to craft compelling cases for support and campaigns
