Job summary

The American Heart Association in Irvine is hiring a Senior Development Director to generate revenue for the Heart Challenge campaign and oversee one Development Director. You will lead fundraising efforts, recruit high-level donors and committees, and align activities with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of fundraising or related experience.
• University/College degree or equivalent experience.
• Must have daily local travel and some overnight trips; reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to drive revenue for the Heart Challenge campaign.
• Achieve revenue goals through corporate and individual donor engagement.
• Recruit, engage, and cultivate a high-level leadership donor base and committees.
• Develop and implement year-round cultivation plans for donor relations.
• Provide staff support for campaigns, events, and volunteer leadership development.
• Collaborate with divisions and associations to align fundraising initiatives.
