Job summary

The American Heart Association in Irvine is seeking a Senior Development Director to lead the Heart Challenge fundraising campaign and drive revenue growth. You will supervise one Development Director, build donor relations with high-level supporters, and collaborate across divisions to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant fundraising experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to do daily local travel and some overnight trips; reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Heart Challenge campaign to achieve revenue goals.
• Spearhead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
• Supervise 1 Development Director and engage staff to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with division and association teams to align fundraising with goals.
• Develop and implement year-round cultivation plans and committees.
• Ensure campaigns operate within fiscal policies and timelines.
