Job summary

Jobot in Miami, FL seeks a Senior Development Accountant to lead financials for development projects. You will oversee budgeting, WIP, and loan management using Yardi and related tools. 5+ years in a similar role and strong regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or CPA is a plus.
Minimum 5 years in a similar accounting/finance role.
Experience with WIP, Yardi, Bridge Loans and Draw Loans.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full financial cycle of development projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain WIP schedule with accurate reporting.
Utilize Yardi for property accounting, leasing, and reporting.
Manage Bridge Loans and Draw Loans, including draws and repayments.
Prepare and present financial reports highlighting trends and risks.
Collaborate with project management to ensure financial success.
Ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
Support year-end and statutory accounts preparation.
