Job summary

Relay is seeking a Senior Developer Success Engineer to make it the easiest path for developers to move value onchain. You will work closely with integrators, shepherd complex implementations to completion, and translate learnings into better product experiences.

You will collaborate with our Customer team, owning the technical relationship while they own the commercial one. This role emphasizes prototyping, debugging, and documenting integration patterns to scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in developer success, developer relations, or solutions engineering—or similar software development experience.
• Ability to own high-stakes technical issues with external developers through resolution.
• Ability to prototype, debug, test, and verify production integrations independently.
• A portfolio of developer-facing work (documentation, examples, demos, or tools) that eased product use.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover US business hours, remote within the United States, with a preference for Eastern Time.
• Own integration support: manage technical relationships when developers integrate with Relay; debug with developers and drive resolutions.
• Know when to provide better guidance, a better implementation, or a better product.
• Work with integrators from first integration through healthy production; help choose the right path and move complex implementations to completion.
• Turn repetitive integration work into scalable docs, examples, templates, and tooling; treat docs as part of the product.
• Write for developers and for agents collaborating with them.
