Job summary

HCLTech seeks a Senior Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications, ensuring delivery within time, quality, and cost standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal teams, mentoring junior developers, and driving continuous improvement.

The position is on-site in Plano, TX or San Antonio, TX, with responsibilities across development, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support within the SDLC framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software development, maintenance, and application support.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SDLC and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance application features based on business and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bugs, and address ad-hoc support requests.
• Design, develop, test, and implement new functionalities and enhancements.
• Provide day-to-day application support, including monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with clients, business users, and internal teams to gather, analyze, and understand requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while adhering to quality standards and project timelines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and project artifacts for CMMI and client compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Support testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and project teams.
