Job summary

The City of New York's Department of Social Services Information Technology Services is seeking an IT Project Specialist to serve as a Senior Developer. You will provide hands-on coding, technical mentorship, and end-to-end deployment for ESS imaging and related web services.

Work involves C#/.NET, Angular front-end, and database management across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, with adherence to SDLC and security standards. Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Four years of related full-time experience with a relevant specialization.
• Degree and/or experience meeting the position requirements as listed.
• Experience with enterprise imaging and web services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on coding, mentorship, and end to end deployment and support for mission-critical ESS systems.
• Develop and enhance Imaging applications using C#/.NET, Angular, and related technologies.
• Contribute to design, development, maintenance, and optimization of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Ensure SDLC compliance and information security per agency policies.
