Job summary

V Group Inc. is seeking an ASP.NET Developer for a 36-60 month contract with the City of New York, Department of Social Services.

The assignment is in Brooklyn, NY on a hybrid model starting ASAP, focused on modernizing OCSS Web and converting mainframe processes into a .NET Framework based system. You will design, implement, and integrate features across frontend, backend, and database layers, prepare design specs and technical documentation, and ensure scalable, secure solutions while

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in .NET development
• Experience with ASP.NET and C# in a professional setting
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle or SQL Server) and stored procedures
• Front-end skills with HTML/XML, AJAX and JavaScript
• Experience with Angular and multi-tier architecture; CI/CD experience

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture and define data flows across applications
• Prepare design specifications for databases, integrations, reporting, and workflows
• Develop features across frontend, backend, and database layers
• Configure and integrate applications with databases and reporting systems
• Monitor production behavior and optimize performance and maintainability
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of legacy systems
