Job summary

Apple Inc. in Culver City, California, seeks a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to own the developer experience: the tools, workflows, and day-to-day practices our engineers rely on to build and ship creative projects.

You will partner with multiple engineering teams to improve tooling, establish ownership and review practices, and develop instrumentation that reveals health and trends, while driving AI-assisted workflows to speed delivery. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with Xcode and iOS Development.
Experience building internal or customer-facing tools that solve real problems.
Experience with build systems, continuous integration, or automated test infrastructure.
Experience building developer-facing tooling used daily.
Experience owning delivery across teams as technical program lead.
Fluency with current agent architecture patterns, and a track record of adapting as they change.

Responsibilities

Build, own, and improve the tools our engineers use every day, with their input and a read on impact.
Partner with engineering teams to shape ownership, review practices, validation, and workflows.
Develop instrumentation and reporting for engineering health and trends.
Identify and drive adoption of AI-assisted and agentic workflows to accelerate development and validation cycles.
