Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate for Omnigent to bridge engineering and the open-source community. You will craft templates, demos, and reference implementations while mentoring contributors and growing a vibrant ecosystem.

You will deliver talks, host panels, and create content across blogs, videos, and courses, shaping community engagement and developer adoption across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience as a developer advocate and in a hands-on technical role.
• Hands-on experience with agentic developer tooling and coding agents.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills, and comfort with command line and reading other people's code.

Responsibilities

• Own medium-to-large advocacy projects end-to-end for Omnigent, from scoping through delivery.
• Grow the Omnigent contributor community and lower the barrier to first contributions.
• Drive external adoption by showing developers how to integrate Omnigent into their stacks.
• Create templates, sample repos, and reference implementations for developers to clone and extend.
• Develop high-quality educational content—videos, tutorials, blogs—covering harness composition and policies.
• Represent Databricks at events and meetups to drive awareness and adoption.
