PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to join our small but mighty Developer Relations team. You will craft sample apps, integrations, and demos against the PagerDuty API, with a focus on AI capabilities and reliable incident response.

You will produce technical tutorials, deep dives, teardowns, and strong opinions for practitioners while presenting at conferences and webinars. The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering, product marketing, and the community with

Qualifications

• Experience in developer advocacy or related technical role.
• Demonstrated technical credibility with live demonstrations and real-world execution.
• Experience carrying a pager and opinions about incident management and reliability, including AI aspects.
• Proficiency in 1–2 programming languages, familiarity with APIs, and ability to adapt to new environments.
• A public body of work (writing, talks, demos, code repositories, videos) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build sample apps, integrations, and demos against the PagerDuty API, including AI features.
• Write technical content for practitioners: tutorials, deep dives, teardowns, and strong technical opinions.
• Speak at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and video content with CFP support.
• Show up in developer communities and support team-led events.
