Job summary

PagerDuty in Atlanta is hiring a Senior Developer Advocate to join a compact, expert team. You will build samples and demos against our API, write technical content, and present talks. The role blends writing, building, and speaking, with time spent in developer communities and events.

Expect to travel up to 25% and operate in a hybrid model, spending time in the Atlanta office twice weekly to collaborate and shape how AI agents influence incident response and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a technical role accountable to developers.
• Proven ability to demonstrate technical credibility with live demos and real-world execution.
• Experience carrying a pager with opinions on incident management and AI in the mix.
• Proficiency in 1–2 programming languages; familiarity with APIs; quick productivity in new environments.
• A public body of work (writing, talks, demos, code repos, videos).
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple formats.
• Active participation in technical developer communities.

Responsibilities

• Build sample apps, integrations, and demos against the PagerDuty API, including AI-focused capabilities.
• Write technical content for practitioners: tutorials, deep dives, teardowns, and strong opinions.
• Speak at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and create video content with CFP support.
• Engage in PagerDuty communities and external spaces; support developer events by the team.
• Route feedback to internal teams with actionable context.
• Enable others by building systems that help engineers and marketers speak and write effectively.
