Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior Developer to design and deliver cloud-native platform services on AWS. You will implement complex features, uphold code quality, mentor developers, and utilize AI-assisted tooling across the SDLC.

You will design cloud-native solutions, maintain CI/CD pipelines, run automated tests, and collaborate with architects to refine user stories. A hybrid Reston, VA schedule and federal IT exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native development on AWS.
• Proficiency with modern languages/frameworks and CI/CD.
• Experience with automated testing and secure coding.

Position Summary:

The Senior Developer builds and delivers core platform services on native AWS. You will implement complex features, uphold code quality, mentor developers, and make effective use of AI-assisted development tooling across the SDLC.

• Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and harden production services

Requirements

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (1-2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
