Job summary

Inadev Corporation in Reston, VA is seeking an AWS Architect to design and govern the cloud platform using native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first foundation, define infrastructure standards, and ensure FedRAMP and availability objectives are met.

You will lead IaC efforts with CDK/CloudFormation, drive cost optimization, and guide security, networking, and resilience across multi-environment deployments. The role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Willing to work a HYBRID schedule (2 days) in Reston, VA and client locations in the DC area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be adaptable and able to collaborate with clients.

Position Summary:

The AWS Architect designs and governs the cloud infrastructure for the platform on native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first, secure, and cost-effective foundation on AWS, define infrastructure standards, and ensure the platform meets FedRAMP and availability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS)
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation
• Architect for FedRAMP compliance
• Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts
• Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies
• Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services
• Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery

Requirements

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Required Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and delivery
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK/CloudFormation)
• Experience with high-availability, high-volume systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• FedRAMP experience
• Serverless and event-driven architecture at scale
• Amazon Bedrock / agentic AI experience
