Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 21+ years old.
• Minimum 3 years as a law enforcement officer or detention/corrections role.
• 2 years of driving experience in a transportation capacity.
• CDL certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Securely transporting detainees between destinations.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and properly maintained.
• Assist management with problems during transport.
• Review vehicle inspection reports and summarize for management.
• Maintain permits and licenses for vehicles.
• Track DOT HOS on electronic logs.
• Interview and screen Transport Officers.
• Ensure missions meet safety standards (PBNDS/FBNDS).
