Job summary

Spectrum Networks seeks a Senior Designer of Virtual Sets to design, develop and manage immersive virtual environments for news broadcasts. You’ll texture, animate and integrate sets using Zero Density and Unreal-based tools while collaborating with news and creative teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in 3D design and broadcast design, with strong collaboration, time management and independent work capabilities. Office-based role with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of 3D design and animation.
• Proficiency in C4D and Adobe suite.
• Demonstrated broadcast design experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience collaborating in team-oriented environments.
• Knowledge of Zero Density or other VR/AR platforms.

• Lead the development, design and texturing of virtual sets for multiple uses across Spectrum Networks.
• Collaborate with news and creative services teams to plan and produce compelling virtual environments.
• Utilize advanced creative skills and technology to craft animations for augmented reality.
• Maintain, expand and consistently update virtual sets to ensure ongoing excellence.
• Uphold Spectrum Networks’ style guide in all co-branded materials.
• Manage upkeep of assigned company equipment, ensuring readiness and reliability.
• Attend stakeholder meetings to provide updates on set development and management.
