J.Crew seeks a Senior Designer to lead seasonal design for Boys’ & Girls’ Sweaters, Girls’ Swim, Accessories and Third-Party programs. You’ll translate trends and brand vision into commercially viable collections, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment from concept to production.

Reporting to the Head of Design for Crewcuts, you’ll drive ideation, oversee line plans, and mentor designers while maintaining brand standards and on-time delivery across categories.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in apparel/knitwear design, with sweaters, swim or accessories focus.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring designers.
• Strong ownership, decision making, and multi-category deadlines.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite for artwork, tech packs, boards.

Responsabilités

• Lead seasonal design for Boys’ & Girls’ Sweaters, Girls’ Swim, and Girls’ Accessories.
• Own third-party collaborations and align with brand vision.
• Translate trends into commercially viable design direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive vision.
• Research yarns, fabrics, trims, and hardware with materials team.
