Job summary

J.Crew invites an experienced Senior Designer to lead Boys’ & Girls’ Sweaters, Girls’ Swim, and Girls’ Accessories for Crewcuts. You’ll translate trends into commercially viable concepts, manage third-party programs, and align with cross-functional teams from concept to production.

Reporting to the Head of Design for Crewcuts, you’ll drive the creative vision across multiple categories. You’ll collaborate with materials, sourcing, and design teams to ensure brand consistency, on-time delivery,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in apparel/knitwear design, focusing on sweaters, swim, or accessories.
• 2+ years leading, managing, or mentoring designers.
• Experience translating women’s and men’s trends into children’s product is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead seasonal design and development for Boys’ and Girls’ Sweaters and Girls’ Swim, building concepts and line plans.
• Own Girls’ Accessories design end to end, from concept through production approval.
• Manage Third-Party collaborations and development with cross-functional teams.
• Translate market trends into commercially viable direction reflecting crewcuts’ point of view.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sourcing to ensure cohesive execution.
