Responsibilities
- Identify trends and translate into concept direction for Jackets & Outerwear.
- Develop monthly concept direction including silhouette, fabric, wash, trim, and artwork.
- Create and communicate design ideas through sketching, digital mock-ups, and CAD as needed.
- Edit assortment for balance, range, and commercial clarity.
- Prepare presentation decks for design leadership monthly.
- Lead technical design setups with accurate BOMs, construction notes, and handoffs.
- Attend fittings and contribute to fit and construction decisions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, and Sourcing to meet business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members in research, sketching, development, and execution.
- Communicate ideas clearly in meetings with stakeholders.
