Job summary

Li & Fung is seeking a Senior Designer, Hard Home to own the product from concept to finished goods. You will guide trend direction for mass retail and designer collaborations, including a Walmart designer home project and a Pier 1 program, while presenting to buyers and celebrity designers.

You will develop complete tech packs, manage timelines, and collaborate with sourcing to hit cost targets, ensuring the design intent remains intact across all assortments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Hard Home product design experience with private label, sourcing agent, or vendor-side background.
• Proven record designing for mass retail and designer-led programs.
• Celebrity, licensed, or designer collaboration experience is strongly preferred.
• End-to-end product knowledge including materials, finishes, construction, costing, and overseas production.
• Ability to write clear, accurate tech packs and specs factories can execute.

Responsibilities

• Lead trend and concept research to define seasonal direction for Hard Home.
• Present concepts for mass to premium customers and translate celebrity aesthetics into viable lines.
• Create and spec hard home products across categories such as tabletop, lighting, and décor.
• Deliver line plans, CADs, and presentation boards; produce complete tech packs.
• Partner with design leads, vendors, and factories to hit cost targets without compromising vision.
• Own items end-to-end from concept through sampling and production follow-up.
