Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Senior Designer for the US market, reporting to the Creative Director, US. You will lead design across product launches, campaigns, café marketing, activations, and brand initiatives, translating ideas across channels while maintaining a clear Blue Bottle point of view.

Qualifications

• A multidisciplinary designer energized by moving between mediums.
• Strong conceptual thinker who can develop a creative idea and translate it into a cohesive visual system.
• Able to communicate design rationale to cross‑functional partners and senior stakeholders.
• Experience guiding freelance designers and managing projects end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept through execution across digital, print, merchandise, and brand experiences.
• Develop visual concepts and systems for integrated campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and other key US brand moments.
• Design packaging, merchandise, and branded products within a cohesive brand system.
• Create digital assets for eCommerce, email, social media, paid media, and other evolving channels.
• Translate concepts across scale from a social asset or email to a package or cafe environment.
• Prototype ideas with 2D and 3D mockups for feedback before production.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Cafe, Digital, and cross‑functional teams to meet business needs.
• Present concepts and design rationale clearly to cross‑functional partners and senior stakeholders.
• Lead projects through iteration, production, and final execution with high craftsmanship.
