Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Senior Designer to shape the company’s US presence. You will lead design from concept through execution across digital, print, packaging, and cafe experiences, translating ideas across channels while maintaining a cohesive Blue Bottle look.

You are a multidisciplinary thinker with strong craft, able to guide both in-house teams and freelancers, and partner with Marketing, Product, and Cafe to translate business needs into creative solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional design experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional conceptual thinking and versatility across multiple mediums.
• Experience leading integrated projects or campaigns from concept through production across multiple channels.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or directly managing designers and creative collaborators.
• Strong understanding of typography and an exceptional eye for composition, hierarchy, image-making, and detail.
• Experience working with vendors, fabricators, printers, or production partners to bring physical creative ideas to life.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept through execution across digital, print, merchandise, and physical brand experiences.
• Develop visual concepts and systems for integrated campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and other US brand moments.
• Design packaging, merchandise, and branded products within a larger brand system.
• Create digital experiences and assets across eCommerce, email, social media, and other digital channels.
• Prototype ideas through 2D and 3D mockups to explore and refine concepts.
