Job summary

High Value Signs in Irving, TX is seeking a Sign Designer & Estimator to translate customer requests into compelling sign concepts and accurate BOMs.

You will perform layout and design, generate price estimates using our templates, and coordinate with sales and vendors to ensure feasible production.

What We Need From You

As a Sign Designer & Estimator, you need to be good at reading work order requests and translating them into a beautiful sign design, an accurate Bill of Material, and a strong Description of the job. You know when we really need to know something about the request and when we can make a reasonable assumption. You can quickly learn our capabilities and those of our vendors/suppliers and how signs are made and installed. Adobe Illustrator is second nature to you and you have a good ability to scale images, eye for proportion, and a curiosity to quickly explore and evaluate options if needed. Good basic math and ability to read measurements.

You will take signage requests from the Sales Person and/or Customers and do a layout/design of the sign along with an estimate of the price (using our ShopVox estimate templates). If you can do this, and have the qualifications below,

• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
• Good close and color vision
• Strong work ethic, a good team player, and willing to learn
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
