SmithGroup's Houston office seeks a Senior Designer to lead architectural design across all project phases, focusing on Higher Education and Science & Technology projects. You will mentor teams, develop competitive concepts, and coordinate with engineers and planners to deliver high-quality drawings and renderings.

The ideal candidate has a 10+ year track record, architecture degree, and proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Lumion, and Enscape.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as an architectural designer leading and working with medium to large-sized projects.
• LEED AP preferred. Architectural Registration preferred.
• A strong and diverse design portfolio across Higher Education and Science & Technology markets.
• Experience leading design teams and project groups required.
• Proficiency with and experience using current design software including Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other modeling and rendering software programs such as Rhino, Lumion and Enscape.
• Exemplary leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills to help facilitate the development of trusted relationships with clients and staff.
• A portfolio of conceptual and built work to share.

The Houston office of SmithGroup is looking for a Senior Designer to join our team.

Working with us, you will:

• Work with the Design Principal and project teams to lead architectural design for all project phases including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

While we may ultimately pay more or less than a posted salary range, at the time of posting the anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $145,000 annually and you are eligible for a performance-based bonus each year.
