Quadric has created an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. Quadric's co-optimized software and hardware are designed to run neural network (NN) inference workloads across a wide variety of edge and endpoint devices, from battery-operated smart sensors to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems. Unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators in the industry today that can only accelerate a portion of a machine learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU executes both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code.

In this position, you will be a core member of our hardware team, reporting to the CTO, with opportunities to grow alongside expert technologists who are also great people to work with.

Responsibilities

1. Architect and develop from scratch a novel set of test benches for a new GPNPU processor
2. Collaborate with architects, hardware & software designers to document verification test plans
3. Implement testbenches using commercial VIPs and/or internal software utilities
4. Develop directed and random drivers, assembly or C++ programs to test the design efficiently
5. Use coverage metrics to track and communicate verification progress

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in design verification for CPUs or GPUs
• Deep knowledge of verification methodologies for CPU or GPU designs
• Expertise in UVM or C/C++ based CPU or GPU verification
• Experience in assembly programming and scripting languages like Python
