Job summary

Blink Health is hiring a Senior Design Systems Engineer II to shape and scale the visual and interaction foundations of Blink’s digital ecosystem. The role blends hands-on engineering with design-focused attention to end-user experience and collaboration with Product Design and Software Engineering teams to evolve a shared design system across products.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in front-end or UI engineering.
• Proven experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
• Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale.
• Experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
• Comfort with rapid prototyping and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine standardized UI components that meet quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity standards.
• Conduct code reviews, validate design fit and finish, and collaborate with Design through implementation reviews to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
• Publish, document, and maintain components in a centralized design system library for scalability and ease of adoption.
• Work with teams to integrate design system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
• Act as a consultant and mentor to other engineering teams, promoting best practices for using and extending the design system.
• Create live prototypes and proofs of concept to test and validate new patterns, workflows, and UI paradigms before full-scale development.
