Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Design Researcher to lead comprehensive user research initiatives that inform design strategies across data-driven products. You will apply qualitative and quantitative methods to translate findings into actionable guidance for product teams in Hoboken, NJ.

Collaborating with Product, Design, and Business leaders, you will synthesize insights, mentor researchers, and advance design thinking to deliver customer-centered experiences and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area.
• 3 years’ experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.
• Experience leading research for B2B or enterprise products and influencing product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive user research including interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries to inform design strategies and identify experience gaps.
• Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights that enhance user interaction and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align research findings with business goals, ensuring effective communication and consensus building.
• Develop and guide research methodologies, verifying data accuracy and addressing inconsistencies to support design decisions.
• Translate research insights into clear recommendations that drive product improvements and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback to optimize user experience.
