Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Principal UX Designer to lead user-centered design strategies and drive exceptional customer experiences across digital platforms.

You will guide prototyping, usability testing, and cross-functional collaboration to shape scalable interfaces and data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

The role partners with the Walmart Global Design team to realize insights from research and craft compelling homepage/app experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design or related field and 5 years’ UI/UX experience.
• Option 2: 7 years’ UI/UX, interactive and visual design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, and site visits to gather actionable insights.
• Develop and refine user journeys and interaction designs to enhance experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align UX solutions with business needs.
• Design and prototype scalable, user-centered interfaces following guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback to improve product performance.
• Document design specifications, patterns, and style guides for consistency.
• Mentor team members to maintain high-quality design standards.
