Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant legal or claim handling work experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow operational policies to analyze, investigate, and resolve BSI claims with moderate supervision.
• Prepare and present reports reflecting loss development, financial exposure, reserve adjustments, and coverage issues.
• Retain, monitor, and manage outside counsel with litigation management plans and budgets.
• Communicate with underwriting on significant claim exposures.
• Travel to mediations, conferences, and trials as needed.
• Draft coverage opinions with case law and refine coverage analyses.
