Job summary
Iron Mountain in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Design Manager – Federal and Special Projects to lead the design delivery for data center programs. You will own end-to-end design execution, coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and security systems, and guide cross-functional teams through budgets, schedules and change controls.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in complex data center or mission-critical projects, U.S.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical capital projects.
- U.S. Citizenship; DoD security clearance preferred.
- Travel up to 25% and ability to work across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead End-to-End Design Execution: own the design delivery strategy for major facility buildouts and programs from site prep to handover.
- Manage Multidisciplinary Integration: align civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, security and operations systems.
- Drive Risk & Financial Governance: manage risks, budgets, schedules, value engineering, and change controls.
- Partner & Mentor: collaborate with internal divisions and mentor Design Managers to elevate regional practices.
