Job summary

AnderCorp is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design execution across federal and commercial projects delivered through Design-Build and integrated delivery methods. You will coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants from pursuit through final design, construction support, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to design management.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, design management, or project delivery.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design coordination efforts.
• Design-Build or alternative delivery project experience.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and design-change management.
• Proficiency with Revit/Navisworks and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design-build process from pursuit through project completion.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, specialty consultants, and design partners.
• Develop and maintain design execution plans, schedules, and logs.
• Support pursuit and preconstruction with technical proposals and budgets.
• Negotiate and manage consultant scopes, fees, and deliverables.
• Ensure designs align with contract requirements and owner expectations.
• Coordinate permitting and review requirements; manage design basis docs and traceability.
• Lead interdisciplinary design reviews, QA/QC, and constructability activities.
• Coordinate BIM and clash detection; ensure construction-ready packages.
• Review RFIs and field changes; support transition from design to construction.
• Mentor project engineers and design management staff.
