Job summary

AnderCorp, LLC seeks a Design Manager to lead design execution on design-build and integrated delivery projects. Sitting on AnderCorp’s side, you will coordinate architects, engineers, and subconsultants from pursuit through closeout, ensuring compliance with UFC, UFGS, and agency criteria.

You will partner with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to manage design development, submittals, constructability reviews, BIM coordination, and field support through turnover and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years of design/engineering/project delivery experience.
• Experience with design-build or integrated delivery projects.
• Working knowledge of submittal processes, QA/QC, and design change control.
• Experience from design planning through issue for construction and closeout.
• Strong constructability and design-to-construction integration background.
• Proficiency with common design/model coordination tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead design process on design-build and integrated delivery projects, overseeing design team and consultants.
• Develop and maintain design execution plans, schedules, milestones, and decision logs.
• Support pursuit teams with design basis development, scope narratives, and technical proposals.
• Negotiate consultant scopes, fees, and performance against deliverables.
• Coordinate design criteria, codes, UFC/UFGS, and agency requirements into delivery plans.
• Plan and lead design reviews, interdisciplinary checks, and QA/QC activities at milestones.
• Coordinate BIM/digital delivery, clash detection, and model coordination with the VDC team.
• Oversee design submittals, responses to comments, and timely resolution of issues.
• Manage design changes with cost, schedule, and scope impacts; document accordingly.
• Support construction, turnover, commissioning, and closeout with technical oversight.
