Position: Senior Design Engineer - Architectural and Engineering Projects

Location: Remote (anywhere in the USA). The role requires approximately 25% domestic travel within the US.

Role Description

We seek an experienced Architectural and Engineering Senior Design Manager to join our North America Places team. The role involves leading design management for projects across various sectors including industrial, commercial, residential, defense, and social infrastructure, with a focus on sustainable and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and consultants to align project objectives.
• Lead strategic pursuits, develop delivery strategies, and manage financial targets.
• Oversee project controls, resource deployment, and optimization.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical and commercial outcomes, exceeding client expectations.
• Implement design delivery best practices, including risk and change management, using digital technologies.
• Develop project plans and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience leading large multi-discipline design and construction projects.
• Strong financial and client management skills.
• Experience with Autodesk platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM solutions.
• BA in Architecture or Engineering; certifications such as PE, RA, PMP preferred.
• Certified Project Management (CPM) within 30 days of hire.
• Sustainability experience and urban project implementation skills are a plus.
