Location: Remote (based anywhere in the USA, with 25% domestic travel expected)

Role Description

We seek an experienced Architectural and Engineering Senior Design Manager to join our Design Management team within the North America Places group. The role involves leading design projects that create smart, safe, and sustainable environments across various sectors including industrial, commercial, residential, and social infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and consultants to align project objectives.
2. Lead strategic pursuits, develop delivery strategies, and manage financial targets.
3. Oversee project management controls, resource deployment, and resource optimization.
4. Ensure timely delivery of services, maintaining high technical and commercial standards.
5. Implement best practices in design delivery, risk, and change management using digital technologies.
6. Develop project plans and scope understanding for diverse design and engineering services.
7. Deliver client presentations, prepare reports, and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience leading large multi-discipline design and construction projects.
• Strong financial management skills related to projects and clients.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions.
• BA in Architecture or Engineering; PMP, PE, or RA certifications preferred.
• Certified Project Management (CPM) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Practical sustainability experience, especially with mechanical systems, is a plus.
• Experience working in urban environments with transformative solutions.
