Job summary

Harvey in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Design to lead two domains: Admin experience and the Platform design system. You will shape how lawyers and firms interact with Harvey, aligning workflows, governance, and AI-enabled interfaces across the product.

Reporting to the VP of Design, you’ll build a high-craft team, set design principles, and partner with product and engineering to deliver scalable, impactful experiences.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in Product Design, with 5+ years directly managing product designers.
• Experience owning a design system at real scale.
• Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or highly technical products.
• Strong portfolio showing leadership of complex products from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

• Own Admin as a product: strategy and execution, in partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Own the system: define Harvey's design system with patterns for AI-powered legal work.
• Own AI tooling for the design org: decide tools and workflows for designers using AI.
• Build and lead the team: grow a team of high-craft ICs across systems, product, and prototyping.
