Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Product Engineering to lead backend teams building core product surfaces for lawyers and professionals. You will own multi-quarter technical strategy, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineers to deliver fast, reliable features that scale with use cases in the legal domain.

You will partner with Design, Product, and AI teams to align technical roadmap with business goals, hire and develop top talent, and foster a culture of simplicity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers to define, build, and drive multi-quarter technical strategy for user-facing features.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and AI teams to identify and execute high-impact initiatives.
• Evolve architecture for a fast-moving, AI-powered application.
• Hire, grow, and retain engineers in a high-trust, high-impact environment.
• Lead by example in code and architecture reviews and unblock teams when needed.
