Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead Admin and Platform design systems, driving strategy, governance, and AI-enabled workflows across the product. You will shape the design organization, partner with executives, and raise the craft bar while delivering scalable, AI-powered experiences.

You will own the system, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and guide a team of senior designers to deliver impact for clients in professional services.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Product Design with 5+ years managing designers.
• Experience owning a design system at real scale and driving adoption.
• Proven track record shipping AI-powered or technical products.
• Strong portfolio showing impact on users and business.
• Fluency with AI tooling in practice and opinion on its design impact.
• Led design strategy alongside Product and Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to ship high‑quality experiences in ambiguous spaces.
• Excellent judgment, clarity, empathy, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own Admin as a product and drive strategy with Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with customers, research, and usage data to fix pain points.
• Tie roadmap to faster rollout, wider adoption, measurable ROI.
• Define Harvey's design system as product decisions and patterns.
• Set craft bar across interaction, systems, content, and visuals.
• Build governance for fast movement with clear contribution paths.
• Own AI tooling for the design org and define workflows.
• Raise floor and ceiling by accelerating team output.
• Treat work as a live experiment, measure, kill what fails, share learnings.
• Build and lead a team of high-craft ICs across surfaces.
• Manage org design, resourcing, prioritization across four surfaces.
• Provide strategic feedback on end-to-end flows, not just screens.
• Partner with leaders to evolve Harvey's build process and executive-facing conversations.
• Establish decision-making in high-trust environments and scale operating model.
