Job summary

Eaton's Electrical division in Worcester, MA seeks a Lead Design Engineer to drive development and commercialization of Hot Aisle Containment platforms through Eaton's NPD process. You will provide technical direction for multiple projects and coordinate across product management, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews and analyses, and push for standardization and cost reductions while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Creo or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience designing data center containment or related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and commercialization of new Hot Aisle Containment platforms via the NPD process.
• Act as technical lead for multiple concurrent projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Direct design reviews, risk assessments, verification/validation, and engineering decisions.
