Job summary

Silver Creek Modular in California seeks a Design + Engineering Senior Project Manager to lead architectural and engineering projects for public education. You will oversee multiple project teams and coordinate with engineers, architects, and approval agencies to ensure code-compliant designs.

This role emphasizes collaboration, QA/QC, and technical leadership, with responsibilities including developing construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD, tracking milestones, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in architecture or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years previous experience managing multiple simultaneous project teams.
• Previous experience developing and managing staff allocation schedules.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of the California Building code.
• Experience working with DSA is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with structural and MEP coordination preferred.
• Professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of multiple project teams to ensure that projects are completed within the allocated schedule and budget.
• Perform project milestone reviews, track project deliverables and progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, job captains, engineers, and architects to develop design concepts into complete construction document packages.
• Perform high level QA/QC department wide to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with codes and project standards.
• Lead the preparation of construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD and related software.
• Provide technical leadership during design phases with multiple project teams and assist with complex detailing and design activities.
• Provide technical support during construction, including RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
• Mentor and guide junior staff.
• Stay current with applicable building codes, DSA requirements, and construction technologies.
