Job summary

Emerson in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead design tasks for major projects within the Tank Pressure Management group. You will provide technical product design support to Operations, Suppliers, and Sales, and contribute to new designs and modifications across product lines.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing experience, GD&T proficiency, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• GD&T knowledge and functional experience.
• Skilled in 2D Drafting and 3D Modeling.
• ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate design-related production problems and implement product improvements/cost reductions.
• Provide engineering and technical support to other departments, customers, and suppliers.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate project activities with designers, technicians, and engineers.
• Review and maintain product files for records on all assigned products.
• Design and develop new products or modifications; develop project schedules and acceptance criteria.
• Perform and support analysis of assigned products including stress, flow, force, and tolerancing using FEA, CFD, GD&T, and related tools.
• Explore opportunities to contain costs in existing products and modifications.
