Job summary

System One in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Process Design Engineer to size and specify refining equipment, develop P&IDs and process descriptions, and support flare gas recovery projects on onsite basis.

You will collaborate with operations and design teams, travel up to 10% for field work, and bring 5+ years of facility design experience to ensure safe, efficient petrochemical processing.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in chemical or mechanical field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in facility design and operation.
• Experience in refinery or petrochemical environments.
• Travel up to 10%.

• Size and specify equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, pressure relief valves, and heat exchangers

Requirements

• Chemical Engineering Degree but open to Mech
• Mid Level-Sr years of experience
• Industry experience open to refinery experience
• Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Symmetry
• Experience in the design and operation of refining/petrochemical processing equipment with field process engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical )
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with facility design and operation (field experience )
• Ability to support approximately 10% of travel
