Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in security engineering, seeks a Design Engineer 3 to design and deploy cyber-physical security solutions for mission-critical facilities. Lead design efforts, translate client needs into scalable solutions, and drive supplier and internal teams to successful implementation across projects.

Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, have 5+ years of experience, and be eligible for a Top Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in security system design/engineering.
• Experience with security design standards, system integration, and project delivery.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (Top Secret) per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and design solutions that meet customer needs.
• Develop BOMs and engineering time estimates for bids.
• Create validation plans, test procedures, and deployment/commissioning plans.
