Job summary

TAE Technologies in Southern California is hiring an experienced engineer to design and develop neutral beam injection systems and associated high-voltage components. You will collaborate with physicists to integrate beamline components and lead prototyping, testing, and commissioning of beamline systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering roles, familiarity with SolidWorks/Catia, and experience with COMSOL/ANSYS simulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering design, analysis, test or manufacturing.
• Experience with beam systems or fusion devices.
• SolidWorks or Catia proficiency.
• Familiar with COMSOL/ANSYS or similar simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop neutral beam injection systems and components.
• Design high-voltage components (100 kV-1 MV class systems).
• Develop thermal management solutions for high-power-density components.
• Collaborate with physicists to integrate beamline components.
• Prototype, test, and commission beamline systems.
