Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical sector, Protection Control & Solutions (PCS) group in Moon Township, PA, seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead MCCB product design and validation in a hybrid setup (3 onsite/2 remote). You will drive concepts, validate designs, and coordinate with global teams to meet standards and deliver robust products.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years in design, and proficiency with Creo, Excel, and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in mechanical or electromechanical design.
• Experience with design for six sigma and regulatory standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, validation, and documentation of MCCB products.
• Coordinate with regional/global teams for certifications and launches.
• Develop and apply models/simulations to ensure performance margins and robustness.
