Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division seeks an Engineering Manager for Molded Case Circuit Breakers in Moon Township, PA. You will lead the MCCB engineering team, oversee NPI, certifications, and product sustaining efforts, and manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5 years in NPD or sustaining of industrial/mechanical products, and 3 years in a leadership role. The role offers relocation for qualified US candidates and requires Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in new product development or product sustaining of industrial/mechanical products.
• 3 years of experience as a leader of people.

Responsibilities

• Manage MCCB engineering team focusing on new product development, product line extensions, performance improvements, certification, and sustaining activities.
• Drive MCCB innovation activities, roadmapping and prioritization of engineering resources.
• Allocate resources to resolve product issues related to yield, quality, warranty, and third party holds.
• Analyze and track key performance metrics, set schedules and budgets, and drive actions to completion.
• Ensure design standards and regulatory certifications (UL, IEC, CSA, etc.) are met and maintained.
• Develop product validation programs and knowledge transfer with plant PLS teams and design centers.
