Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Moon Township, PA for a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). You will design, validate, and support hardware for circuit breaker electronics, working with firmware, mechanical, and quality teams through development and production launches.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 3+ years of hardware design experience and proficiency in analog/digital circuits, Altium, and PCB layout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hardware design experience.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, testing, troubleshooting, or validation.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware for circuit breaker products.
• Develop hardware requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
• Investigate production and field issues using root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
