Job summary
At SJE in Lee, NH, we seek a Senior Design Engineer to design and engineer custom electrical control panels and automation systems for industrial, municipal water, and wastewater applications throughout New England. You will develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control system designs in collaboration with customers, sales, production, and quality teams.
Responsibilities include designing PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and networking solutions, preparing BOMs and submittals,
Qualifications
- Experience designing electrical control panels and systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and customer requirements.
- Familiarity with UL, NEC, and NFPA requirements.
- Experience with PLC and SCADA system design is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and systems for industrial applications.
- Develop electrical schematics, BOMs, and submittals.
- Coordinate with customers, sales, production and QA throughout projects.
- Support panel testing, troubleshooting, and programming efforts.
- Collaborate to improve product designs and manufacturing efficiency.
